Privacy notice (nDSG)

Hosting: This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Netlify keeps technical access logs of every visit, including your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. It does this to deliver the site and keep it secure. These server logs are processed and stored in the USA. The transfer is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adapted for Swiss data protection law, which Netlify has agreed to in its data processing agreement. Netlify is also certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework.

Contact form: When you use the form, your name, company, email and message are sent through Netlify Forms, which is also provided by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Your form submission is processed and stored by Netlify in the USA, protected by the same safeguards as described under Hosting, and then delivered to me by email. I only use them to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare the engagement. Records I must keep by law are kept for as long as the law requires.

No tracking: This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and uses no tracking tools.

Your rights: You can ask what data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by emailing nick@chirhosec.com. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
